Arnaud works on all aspects of customs and international trade law, areas in which he has developed a strong expertise since 2013. He founded Fendler Salva Partners in 2026, after practicing within the Trade & Customs practice of DS Avocats, and in an international law firm in London. He acts as managing partner of the firm.
Arnaud assists the firm’s clients, in both advisory and litigation matters, on all French and European trade & customs aspects, including customs pillars (classification, valuation and origin), sanctions and export control regulations, market access requirements, supply chains ethical and decarbonation standards, and trade defence instruments. Arnaud also advises clients on trade & customs related matters in China and South-East Asia, where he practiced during his career.
Arnaud helps the firm’s clients navigating regulatory issues and provides strategic guidance for their day-to-day operations. Throughout his practice, Arnaud has developed strong abilities in the handling of complex litigation issues, including cross-border sanctions and export control internal and enforcement investigations, pan-european customs audits, sensitive disclosure of trade & customs infringements, the rejection of origin preferred supply chains, and the non-acceptance of transfer pricing adjustments for customs valuation purposes. He helps European industries in the setting up trade defence strategies and represents their interests during antidumping investigations. He also advises companies on meeting carbon neutral (CBAM) and ethical (EUDR, Forced Labor) supply chain requirements.
Arnaud has extensive experience in assisting clients across various sectors, including defence & military, aeronautics, spatial, semiconductors, automotive, chemicals, luxury goods, agri-food, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, e-commerce, cosmetics, electronics, cybersecurity, electrical equipment, oil & gas, energy and industrial equipment & machinery.
Arnaud represents the firm in the GLCA (Global Legal Customs Association) and the ECCN (European Customs Counsel Network).
Beside his attorney work, Arnaud is Co-Chair of the ICC WBF Customs Valuation Group, an active member of the ICC WBF delegation to the WCO Technical Committee on Customs Valuation, an active member of ICC France Customs Committee, and the French Ambassador of the International Sanctions and Export Control Society (ISECS). Arnaud also participates actively to works undertaken within French associations Collin de Sussy and ODASCE.
